Senior Test Analyst

Senior Test Analyst required to join leading Investment Bank. Position is open to all applicants. Treasury experience is preferred but not essential. Work place would favor entrepreneurial candidate.

Core competencies Skills/Education

• Relevant B.Com or BSC degree
• ISEB P/F qualification advantageous
• Requirements extraction from functional and technical specifications
• Analytical and methodical approach to work
• Documentation of test results in an acceptable format
• Microsoft skills – Word; Excel; PowerPoint.

Experience

• 3-5 years in formal testing environment as Senior Test Analyst
• Treasury exposure required
• Exposure to financial institutions
• Familiar with test case creation and design
• Sound understanding and exposure to the full SDLC
• Full practical experience in defect and change control processes
• Functional and technical environment requirements extraction ability in terms of testable areas
• Sound understanding and use of available ‘best practice’ testing tools
• Technical IT exposure regarding technical environments and applications
• Past development experience is advantageous
• Exposure to test automation is advantageous
